《麦类作物学报》是由教育部主管、西北农林科技大学和国家小麦工程技术研究中心联合主办的专业性学术期刊，也是全国唯一的一份学报级麦类作物专刊。本刊为双月刊，主要刊载小麦、大麦、燕麦、黑麦等麦类作物遗传育种、生理生化、栽培管理、面粉加工（包括配麦、配粉工艺等）、食品加工（包括面包、面条、馒头、饺子等各种面食品的制作工艺和添加剂的合理使用等）、产品贸易（包括籽粒和各种加工产品的国内外市场信息）等方面有创见性的学术论文、领先水平的科研成果、学术报告、有新意的文献综述以及学术动态。
《麦类作物学报》为：

《中国科学引文数据库》（CSCD）核心期刊；
中国科技核心期刊；
《中国科技期刊精品数据库》入选期刊（入选比例为6.25%）。

Brief Introduction to Journal of Triticeae Crops
Journal of Triticeae Crops, the only journal on Triticeae Crops in China, is an academic periodical under the administration of the Ministry of Education, P. R. China, and co-sponsored by Northwest A﹠F Universityand National Wheat Engineering Technical Research Center of China. It is published within China and overseas. Journal of Triticeae Crops mainly focuses on publishing original research papers in the breeding and genetics, physiology, biochemistry, cultivation, milling, food processing and trade concerned with triticeae crops, such as wheat, barley, oat and rye etc.
Journal of Triticeae Crops was approved as ‘the national nuclear scientific periodical’ by The Ministry of Science and Technology, China, and was listed as ‘the agricultural nuclear periodical’ by The Complete Catalogue of Chinese Nuclear Periodicals. According to the statistic of Chinese Academic Journals Comprehensive Citation Report published by Tsinghua University in 2004-2007, the impact factor of the journal was 1.164, 1.140, 1.032 and 1.033, respectively. The journal has been included by a lot of database and compendium periodicals within China and overseas, such as CA（Chemical Abstracts, USA）, AJ(VINITI database, Russian), CABI(CAB International, UK), JST(Japan Science & Technology Agency), IC(Copernicus Index, Poland), CSCD (Chinese Science Citation Database), CSTPCD (Chinese Scientific and Technical Papers and Citation Database).
